May 9, 2012 - I have just set up my new 30 g aquarium and had a few questions about cycling. I have added nutrafin cycle and conditioner. I am using a sponge filter as well as a pwer filter. I have 3 mystery snails in other tanks and I wanted to know if I could use them instead of spending money on hardy fish. We plan on getting African Cichlids once the tank is ready. Can I add some crushed coral to my standard gravel and still reap the ph benefits, is salt necessary and if so should i disolve it...
