Voting Question: angelfish swimming in circles?
Hello I need some help here!
I have a 50 gal aquarium home to 1 Black angelfish, 2 golden guaramis, 1 red tailled black shark, 1 ruby barb , 1 blach ghost knifefish, 1 plecko, and 5 red eyed tetra.
I have had this set-up for about two years or so. I have never tested my water and don't own a test kit. I have never had a heater of any kind in this tank.I perform 15% water changes from time to time, with wonderful healthy looking fish.
I have just recently installed a bubble system in my tank. I began to see a change in my angelfish. hovering in the back corner, and quite but still eating flakes and pellets. about three days later I introduced the red eyed tetra.
It has been about four days now after introducing the tetra, and my angel is now swimming in tight circles over and over. THIS BEHAVIOR HAS NOW BEEN GOING ON FOR APPROX. 24 HRS. I wonder if there is something I can do tonight for her, and I need to know what type of test kits I should be buying?
Any help would be great. Thanking you in advance

Resolved Question: Can anybody give me tips for maintaining a good Aquarium ?
I have ordered a new glass Aquarium(not acrylic one) for my home with measurements lxbxh = 18 inches x 12 inches x 18 inches. Please anyone give me valuable tips to maintain it properly right from the beginning.Should I add borewell water or drinking water to it.When I added Borewell water to my old aquarium it got stained with salt marks which I used to clean using vinegar. But,they used to reappear within 3 or 4 days.But.in aquarium shops the tanks are always clear, how come?Currently I have 2 small sharks and 1 dalmation mollie since 6 months in my old tank which I will be adding to the new one once it is finished. How to maintain a crystal clear aquarium? What type of bulb should be used for good lighting?
Resolved Question: Are there any type of freshwater fish that actually look like a shark for my home aquarium?
I've had the ones that resemble a catfish and I have seen the bala sharks, but I really would like something that looks more like a shark, and that may actually grow to AT LEAST 6 or 7 inches, if not bigger... I am having a hard time finding anything that fits this Is there a such shark?
Resolved Question: some questions about aquariums and fish?
i was thinking about getting one of those little sharks. not the ones that look like fish, but the ones that dont get any bigger then, 5 inches or so. my friend has one and i love it haha. shes not home, so, i was wondering some things -
1. how big of a tank do u need for a mini shark?
2. does it have to be salt water?
3. can i put other fish in there with it or will he/she eat it?
4. what do they eat?
5. if you have ever owned any type of "shark", can u just give me little details to a first time owner? (:
6. iv had other types of fish; beta, gold fish, and other common fish. how do u clean the tank with a mini shark?
and any other details that will help me out.
THANK YOU(:
